British Limb Reconstruction Society

The British Limb Reconstruction Society was founded in 1997 with the object of bringing together surgeons and allied professionals involved in the management of congenital and acquired deformities of the upper and lower limbs, reconstruction of post traumatic limb defects and limb equalisation techniques. The British Limb Reconstruction Society is situated in 35-43 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, UK. The British Limb Reconstruction Society aims to advance education and research in the field of limb reconstruction and holds regular scientific meetings and training courses. The British Limb Reconstruction Society is affiliated with the British Orthopaedic Association and with the International ASAMI (Association for the Study and Application of the Method of Ilizarov). Membership of the British Limb Reconstruction Society is open to all surgeons involved with the techniques of limb reconstruction. The current membership fee for the British Limb Reconstruction Society is £75 per annum for consultant surgeons. Associate membership is also available, without a fee, to Allied Health Professionals (e.g. physiotherapists, nurses etc.), trainees with sub-speciality interest in limb reconstruction, and overseas surgeons. Mr. Selvadurai Nayagam is serving as the President of British Limb Reconstruction Society. David Goodier is the President elect of British Limb Reconstruction Society. Mr. Om Lahoti is the present secretary of British Limb Reconstruction Society. Mr. James Fernandes was the past president of British Limb Reconstruction Society. Hemant Sharma is working as treasurer at British Limb Reconstruction Society. And Mr. Alwyn Abraham is the Education secretary       of British Limb Reconstruction Society. British Limb Reconstruction Society is hosting a specialty day at the 2016 BOA Congress in Belfast. The topic is "This fracture is not healing. What do I do?" Mr David Ferguson has been selected as first British Limb Reconstruction Society Clinical Leadership Fellow for 2016 - 2017. BLRS 2017 will be held at The Metropol Hotel, Leeds.
