International Association Of Genocide Scholars

International Association of Genocide Scholar, a global non-factional association that looks to further research and instructing about the nature, causes, and outcomes of genocide, and to propel approach contemplates on the aversion of genocide. The affiliation, established in 1994 by Israel Charny, Helen Fein (its first president), Robert Melson, and Roger Smith, meets to consider relative examination, late works, contextual investigations, the connections amongst genocide and other human rights infringement, and counteractive action and discipline of genocide, data which is distributed in the official diary of the affiliation. A focal point of the affiliation is to draw scholastics, activists, craftsmen, genocide survivors, columnists, legal advisers, and open strategy producers into the investigation of genocide, with anticipation as the true objective. Enrollment is interested in intrigued people around the world. In 1997, the affiliation collectively passed a formal determination confirming the Armenian Genocide, furthermore sent a public statement to the Prime Minister of Turkey. In December 2007 the association passed another determination reaffirming the Armenian Genocide and authoritatively perceiving both the Greek and Assyrian Genocides.
