International Society of Chemical Ecology

Popularly known as Tax Exempt Scientific and Educational Society, in 1983 September 12th the International Society of Chemical Ecology was established at Commonwealth of Kentucky, USA. The governing body consists of 15 members as council and an executive committee of President, Vice president, Treasurer, Secretary, Past-President and a Representative. The main motto of the society is to incorporate the relation between Biologists and chemists. ISCE contains more than 450 active members from all over the globe and organizing its operations in 45 countries. It is organized on the principle of making to understand the interactions between the organisms and their interactions with the environment which are mediated by the chemicals which are naturally occurring. The main research areas are chemistry, biochemistry, natural products and their functions and their importance in organization of ecology and its evaluation origin and its applications.
