Jordanian Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists

Jordanian Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists was established since 1979 with the aim to promote a good standard of medical training in the arena of obstetrics and gynaecology, by keeping their doctors modernized with the developments and investigation done in the field and by constant medical instruction to rise up the ethics and services for the women and society. The Jordanian Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists is a member of the International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics. The International Federation of Gynaecology and Obstetrics is a worldwide NGO society demonstrating obstetricians and gynaecologists in over one hundred zones. In addition the society sponsors fellowships, lectures, offers reports about women’s health, and deals grants to attain about estimation and treatment of gynaecological and obstetrical syndromes. There are many subspecialties in the field nowadays and to keep updated in all of them is the major aim for Jordanian Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists. There are about 764 doctors recorded in the society till this date (10/2/2014). Jordanian Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists had organised around 25 conferences worldwide.
