Miami Valley down Syndrome Association

In the late 1970s a few guardians of kids with down disorder combined to frame a care group for groups of people with Down disorder. About forty years after the fact, with the assistance of numerous supporters, their vision and diligent work has brought the Miami Valley Down Syndrome Association (MVDSA) from a little parent development to philanthropic association supporting more than 250 families in the Miami Valley of Ohio.

The Buddy Walk was established by the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) to celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness and to promote acceptance and inclusion of people with Down syndrome. Today, the Buddy Walk program is supported nationally by NDSS and organized at the local level by the Miami Valley Down Syndrome Association (MVDSA).
