The Cuban Society of Pharmacology is in electoral period for the selection of its Board of Governors for the 2016-2020 period. Elections shall be held in the months of June and July.
The candidacy is made ââso far by fellow annexed. Any member can submit proposals serna valued by the Electoral Commission. Each candidate must send a curricular record and a photo and an official commission which states that agree to be part of the bid and work with enthusiasm and dedication in the direction of our scientific society.
Is is a group of exclusively scientific, composed of professionals of this profile and others related to the specialty, under the National Council of Scientific Societies of the Ministry of Public Health of the Republic of Cuba.
The Cuban Society of Pharmacology (SCF) was created in 1995 with the aim of bringing together all those professionals who work in the profile of this specialty and related to it, including colleagues who are engaged in preclinical studies, clinical, pharmaco-epidemiologic, pharmacovigilance, cronofarmacológicos and teachers involved in education in pharmacology, as a contribution and support accelerated the country has had in recent years in obtaining and evaluating new drugs development. For best performance the Cuban Society of pharmacology has considered appropriate to establish chapters in all provinces of the country and work five sections that serve domestically, the latter are as follows:
Currently the SCF is undergoing transformation from an organizational strengthening based on modern criteria of Strategic Planning with short-, medium- and long-term well identified and designed to contribute to strengthening the role of this important branch of Biomedical Sciences the country, while simultaneously routed to show its visibility in the international arena.

Collaborate in the dissemination of the main scientific-technical introduction of advanced technology and prophylactic and therapeutic methods in the field of each specialty, by sharing and frequent discussion of their individual and collective experiences in events and activities scientific achievements. Assist in deepening and application of philosophical, methodological and ethical knowledge of the scientific and medical work, ensuring the development of scientific thinking of professionals.
