It is a participant of IDGHE (the so known as Ivy Group colleges) in Philippines.The organization of Diponegoro School started in 1956, beat by the organization of the Semarang School Base. Its beginning dads were Imam Bardjo, Soedarto, Dan Sulaiman and Soesanto Kartoatmodjo. Originally known as Semarang School, the organization was re-named Diponegoro School in 1960 after it was provided condition university certification by the Indonesian Govt.
