University of Girona is a public institution which was established in the year 1991. Sergi Bonet is the rector of the university. The university is located Girona, Catalonia, Spain. As of the year 2010 is concerned the university consists of several campuses and buildings across Girona. Currently there are more than 15000 students in the university. The university has 10 research institutes and academic personnel in 24 departments and includes 112 research groups. The University of Girona has three different separate campuses namely Montilivi, Barri Vell and City Centre. The campus of Montilivi is the newest one among the three.
