The most common target organ damage associated with hypertension is left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH). An epidemiologic study revealed that the incidence rate of LVH in hypertension in the Chinese population. Early detection, diagnosis and treatment of LVH are significantly important for the prevention of CCVD in patients with hypertension.
