The University of Skovde was established in 1977 in skovde, Sweden. As on august 2013 the university hasapproximately 11,000 students and Lecturers and other educational staff number 414, with approximately 137 persons in administration. The campus is located alongside the Gothenburg-Stockholm railway, near the center of Skovde. Urban Wass is the chairman of University of Skovde.
