Active Network

As per available reports about 613 journals, 1775 Conferences, workshops are presently dedicated exclusively to active network and about 2401 articles are being published on the current trends in active network. In terms of research annually, USA, India, Japan, Brazil and Canada are some of the leading countries where maximum studies related to active networking are being carried out. As reported in the above mentioned 2401 articles, Active networking is a communication pattern that allows packets flowing through a telecommunications network to dynamically modify the operation of the network. Active network architecture is composed of execution environments (similar to a unix shell that can execute active packets), a node operating system capable of supporting one or more execution environments. It also consists of active hardware, capable of routing or switching as well as executing code within active packets. This differs from the traditional network architecture which seeks robustness and stability by attempting to remove complexity and the ability to change its fundamental operation from underlying network components.

Genomics maps the genetic structure of the living organism,  Proteomics explores the ways and means to utilize the molecular biology, biochemistry and genetics to analyse the structure, function and interaction of the proteins, produced by the genes. Data mining is a tool used to extract precious, yet unknown information from huge database to transform the data into useful information.
