Aquaculture, also referred to as aquafarming, involves the culturing of aquatic organisms, such as fishes, aquatic plants, crustaceans, and molluscs etc. Cultivation of aquatic plants or rearing of aquatic animals for food is known as aquaculture. Aquafarming implies intervention in the rearing process to enhance production, such as regular feeding, stocking, protection from predators, etc. Aquaculture technologies are very important in aquafarming, it is of utmost importance for scientists working on aquaculture to seek the latest research work in this field.
