In terms of research annually, USA, India, Japan, Brazil and Canada are some of the leading countries where maximum studies related to bipolymers are being carried out. As reported in the above mentioned 8863 articles, Living organisms produce biopolymers and they are also called as polymeric biomolecules. Biopolymers form larger structures; these structures are formed by covalently bonded monomeric units. There are 3 main categories of biopolymers, classified based on the monomeric units used and also the structure of the biopolymer formed: polynucleotides (RNA and DNA), that are long polymers composed of thirteen or additional ester monomers; polypeptides, that are short polymers of amino acids; and polysaccharides, that are usually linear bonded polymeric carbohydrate structures.
