As per available reports about 273 journals, 129 Conferences, 94 workshops are presently dedicated exclusively to Catalyst and about 148000 articles are being published on the current trends in Catalyst. In terms of research annually, USA, India, Japan, Brazil and Canada are some of the leading countries where maximum studies related to Catalyst are being carried out. As reported in IUPAC gold book A substance that increases the rate of a reaction without modifying the overall standard Gibbs energy change in the reaction; the process is called catalysis. The catalyst is both a reactant and product of the reaction. The words catalyst and catalysis should not be used when the added substance reduces the rate of reaction (see inhibitor ). Catalysis can be classified as homogeneous catalysis, in which only one phase is involved, and heterogeneous catalysis, in which the reaction occurs at or near an interface between phases. Catalysis brought about by one of the products of a reaction is called autocatalysis. Catalysis brought about by a group on a reactant molecule itself is called intramolecular catalysis. The term catalysis is also often used when the substance is consumed in the reaction (for example: base-catalysed hydrolysis of esters). Strictly, such a substance should be called an activator. A Catalyst is generally considered a type of anecdotal evidence. Catalysts may also have a role to play in guiding the personalization of treatments in clinical practice.
The Journal of Thermodynamics & Catalysis is an academic journal – hosted by OMICS International – a pioneer in open access publishing–and is listed among the top 10 journals in Catalysis. Each year research scientists have noticed a rise in the number of congresses being held in this field. The Journal of Catalysis provides a unique platform to researchers and scientist to explore the advanced and latest research developments in the field of medical and life sciences, thus bridging the gap between researchers and young scientists.
OMICS International – a pioneer in organizing international conferences with the great success of previous International Immunology conferences- International Symposiums, OMICS Group is proud to organize the 3rd International Conference on Bioprocess and Engineering during May 4-5, 2015 at Baltimore, USA with a theme “Bringing latest technological developments of bioprocess in to real world scenario”. The annual Bioprocess Conference is a remarkable event which brings together a unique and international mix of large and medium medical and clinical research and companies, leading universities and medical research institutions making the conference a perfect platform to share experience, foster collaborations across industry and academia and evaluate emerging innovations around the world.
|Our Group hosts over 700 leading-edge peer reviewed Open Access Journals and organize over 3000 International Conferences annually all over the world. Our Group journals have over 3 million readers and the fame and success of the same can be attributed to the strong editorial board which contains over 50000 eminent personalities that ensure a rapid, quality and quick review process. Our Group signed an agreement with more than 1000 International Societies to make healthcare information Open Access.
