In terms of research annually, USA, India, Japan, Brazil and Canada are some of the leading countries where maximum studies related to general practice are being carried out. As reported in “Assessing the Ability to Make a Will in Primary Care; Kieran M Kennedy” article, General practitioners are occasionally requested to provide an opinion on the ability of their patient to make a valid will. Typically, the GP will receive a letter from the patient’s solicitor asking for a medical report that outlines their patient’s mental capacity, with respect to making a will. Such requests will become much more frequent as the population ages and personal wealth increases.
