As per available reports about 100 journals, 162 Conferences, 30 workshops are presently dedicated exclusively to insects and about 366282 articles are being published on the current trends in insects reseacrh. In terms of research annually, USA, India, Japan, Brazil and Canada are some of the leading countries where maximum studies related to proteomics are being carried out. As reported in article- Kaio Cesar Chaboli Alev-” Review: Malpighian Tubule, an Essential Organ for Insects” article, The Insecta class comprises approximately 1.000.000 species distributed in 32 orders. The excretory system in insects and terrestrial arthropods consists of structures called Malpighian tubules. This organ, like the posterior intestine forms the primary system in insects for ionic, osmotic and excretory regulation by which excretion products and toxic compounds are transported.
The final phase of excretion occurs in the rectum, with ions and water is reabsorbed at this location. Thus, the large intestine which is the final composition of urine is formed. Substances removed from the urine as water and ions are transferred through intimate connections between the posterior intestine and tubules. Thus, these organs are extremely important in insects because maintains constant internal environment through the elimination or segregation of unnecessary substances present in the hemolymph, and the retention or reabsorption of useful substances to the body.
The Journal of Entomology, Ornithology & Herpetology: Current Research is an academic journal – hosted by OMICS International – a pioneer in open access publishing–and is listed among the top 10 journals in insects. Each year research scientists have noticed a rise in the number of congresses being held in this field. The Journal of Entomology, Ornithology & Herpetology : Current Research provides a unique platform to researchers and scientist to explore the advanced and latest research developments in the field of Entomology, Ornithology & Herpetology: Current Research, thus bridging the gap between researchers and young scientists.
