Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University is famous by Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD). It was established by the Government of the NCT of Delhi through an Act of the Delhi Legislature in 2007. The main focus of the university is on undergraduate and postgraduate studies and on research in the Humanities and the Social Sciences. The university has been graded A by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. AUD presently has two campuses - in Kashmere Gate (16 acres West Delhi) and in Karampura (110 acres North-West Delhi), where around 40 undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes are currently on offer.
