Brigham and Women’s Hospital: Boston’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital is an international leader in virtually every aspect of medicine and been the site of pioneering breakthroughs that have made lives better around the world. BWH has two outstanding hospitals over 150 outpatient practices with over 1,200 physicians. The U.S News and World Report consistently ranks the hospital among the nation’s top 10 hospitals and in the top 10 for particular speciality areas in 2014 including cancer, cardiology, heart surgery, gynaecology, nephrology and rheumatology. In 1980 three of Boston’s oldest and most prestigious Harvard Medical School teaching hospitals, the Robert Brecks Brigham Hospital and the Boston Hospital for Women- merged to form Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
