CAS-CUHK Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Integration Technology

Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Integration Technology (SIAIT), which was mutually founded by Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), Shenzhen Municipal Government and CUHK in 2006, is the chief research unit of SIAT for research, innovative technology development. It is devoted to integration technology related to fundamental, visionary and strategic research underlining on multi-discipline research and focusing chiefly on development of system integration to establish a solid base for the integration technology and engineering researches. At present, Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Integration Technology (SIAIT) has a total of 13 research units of which 9 are research centres and 4 are laboratories embracing a extensive range of research areas such as Automotive Electronics, High Performance Computing and Data Simulation, Human Computer Interaction, Integrated Electronics, Photovoltaic Solar Cell, Intelligent and Biomimetic Systems, Intelligent Sensing, Precision Engineering, Ambient Intelligence and Multimodal Systems, Cognitive Technologies, Culture Integration Engineering, Photonics Integrated Technologies, and Semiconductor Equipment. The mainstream of academic staff is from reputed universities worldwide. Catholic Kwandong University – The University was established by Diocese of Incheon under the management of Incheon Catholic Foundation on September 1st, 2014.
