Carmarthenshire College

Carmarthenshire College is a huge, multi-site, Further Education College located in South West Wales. It has approximately 10,000 students of which approximately 3,000 are full-time and 7,000 are part-time. Approximately 950 students are in higher education. Later 1 August 2013, the college has been part of the University of Wales: Trinity Saint David Group. It has 5 main campuses at Llanelli (Graig), Carmarthen (Pibwrlwyd and Jobs Well), Ammanford and Llandeilo (Gelli Aur). In case of higher education, 61% are part time students while 36 % are full time while in the case of Further education, 66% students are part time while 34 % are full time. WAG grant for 2012/13 was 53%, HEFCW grants was 1%, work based learning was 7%, and tuition fees and educational contracts was 13 %. Staff costs were 63% and depreciation was 3 %.
