Centre for Advanced Security Research Darmstadt

  In the year of 2015 , the up until then government (EC SPRIDE) and state funded (CASED) research centres for IT  security, channelled  their resources and form the CRISP (Centre for Research in Security and Privacy). Partners of CRISP are the Technische Universität Darmstadt, with their profile area of IT research CYSEC, the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, as well as the SIT and the IGD. CRISP is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Hessian Ministry for Science and the Arts. Their partnership is Europe wide the greatest alliance of research facilities in the field of cyber security. It boasts of more than 50 lectures held at inter­national conferences, 50 and above organized conferences by their researchers, Distinguished Lectures in Cybersecurity , more than 80 national and inter­national awards for their researchers , around 450 researchers in CRISP partner institutes are working on Cybersecurity topics with 4 supporting institutions at one location.
