Centre for Marketing Engineering

The Center for Marketing Engineering takes lead in different applied research projects with major focus on database marketing, customer relationship management, data mining and business intelligence applications. Through its consultancy services, training programs, public speaking and joint research activities, the Center has also developed close partnership with leading corporations in the greater China region covering a wide range of industries including the banking, telecommunication and retail sectors. Some of the research projects include "An Explorative Study on Government Intelligence System", a consultancy project sponsored by the Efficiency Unit of HKSAR; "A CRM Feasibility Study for an automobile dealer", a consultancy project sponsored by Inno Communications. It is also having publications like "Road to Customer Loyalty" published by Citic Publisher, 2009. A letter of intent has been signed for research on “Business Intelligence“ between The Commercial Mail Research Center of China Post and our Center. There are some training programs like One day CRM training program for the CRM team of PIng An Insurance Company (China); Two day training program on "Business Intelligence" for senior management of China Post, etc. Centre for Marketing Engineering has also conducted Public Workshops like One Day CRM workshop sponsored by Hong Kong Institute of Marketing; Four Day CRM workshop sponsored by Hong Kong Institute of Marketing, etc.
