Centro Ramon Pineiro para la Investigacion en Humanidades

The Ramón Piñeiro Centre for Humanities Research (formerly Center for Linguistics and Literary Research Ramon Pineiro) has its branches in Santiago de Compostela , originally in the "complex Barcia" and from January 2014 in the old hospital of San Roque.
It was founded in 1993 under the name Centre for Linguistics and Literary Research Ramon Pineiro , designation which was amended in 1997 which holds today.
The Ramón Piñeiro Centre is tasked to promote, develop and disseminate the projects and programs of Galician linguistic studies, literary, historical and anthropological.
Among the projects developed noteworthy:
Project TERMIGAL: center of terminological galician where investigates the terminology of certain fields and the Galicians can also make inquiries (phone: 981 542 653).
Project phraseology: a team led by Jesus Ferro Ruibal launched the monographic and the magazine Notebooks of Galician phraseology, at number 16 in 2014.
Project Corga (Reference Corpus of Galician Current) Project Dictionary of literature Project Dictionary of literary terms.
Project Recovery poetic texts and journalistic Galicia.
Project Dimensions collective identity in Galicia.
Draft Annual Reports of literature.
Project Cantigas de Santa Maria.

The center was born on the road to Santiago de Compostela to Noia , in Barcia - Lamas Laraño, Santiago de Compostela , but in January 2014 moved to Hospitaliño of San Roque, in the street of San Roque (Santiago).
