The Prince Felipe Research Centre (CIPF) is a research center of Spain dedicated biomedical studies inaugurated on March 17, 2005 by TRH the Princes of Asturias in order to address new advances in biomedical research and promote scientific work of excellence. The IPPC reflects the tradition of previous research Cytological Research Institute and the Valencia Foundation for Biomedical Research, in order to strengthen it and expand it. Over the years, the IPPC has become a focal point both nationally and internationally. The IPPC is a private foundation affiliated to the Ministry of Health of the Generalitat Valenciana. For almost 50 years researchers Prince Felipe Research Centre have made a great effort to position the research conducted at the center in the international framework of excellence. There have been great advances in key areas such as regenerative medicine, the cancer, new therapies, neuronal damage, etc. Its aim is biomedical research including basic research gene targets, molecular and cellular processes, nanomedicine and computational medicine and its translation into clinical practice with special interest in personalized medicine, cancer], rare diseases , metabolic , and cognitive impairment and functional. Besides aim to advance knowledge of biomedical impact, the IPPC enhances translation of their research groups, who have extensive experience in the indicated approximations, or the healthcare system to improve the health of citizens, with potential to establish a more individualized medicine, either the production system as patentable or exploitable results.
