In 1958, Dr. Marcy Ditmanson traveled to Taiwan . He practiced medicine in the medically deficient Chia-Yi, and set up the “ Chia-Yi Christian Hospital. ” Dr. Marcy Ditmanson efforts to offer high-quality medical care provide the people in Yunlin - Chiayi area with a renewed hope. Besides the medical services, “ holistic care ” is an important spirit at CYCH. In the beginning, the medical team of CYCH has doctors and nurses providing the medical services and Uncle Nelson a volunteer from USA came to Taiwan , providing daily medical care for sick children of the community. We still adhere to the spirit of our beginning, offering high-quality medical service and holistic care.
