CoRI is a Belgian non-profit organization created in 1957 in order to stimulate innovation and Research in the paint, varnish and coatings industry by scientific and technological developments. CoRI is a private organisation financed by industry and public authorities (regional, federal and European).
The main objective of setting up the Institute is to serve as a national Level laboratory for undertaking applied research in electrical power engineering besides functioning as an independent national testing and certification authority for electrical equipment and components to ensure reliability in power systems and to innovate and develop new products.
Collective research: The aim of these research programs is to increase expertise through generic of thematic research project. CoRI will promote innovation in the industry. Contractual research: These research programs are technological developments with industrial partners in the aim to increase the value of their products and services with open innovation. The results of these researches are strictly confidential.
