The organization was established in 1923. The National Research Council (CNR) is an open association; its obligation is to do, push, spread, exchange and enhance research exercises in the fundamental segments of learning development and of its applications for the exploratory, mechanical, financial and social improvement of the Country. To this end, the exercises of the association are isolated into macro regions of interdisciplinary logical and mechanical examination, concerning a few parts: biotechnology, medication, materials, environment and area, data and correspondences, progressed frameworks of creation, legal and financial sciences, established studies and expressions. CNR is conveyed all over Italy through a system of foundations going for pushing a wide dissemination of its skills all through the national region and at encouraging contacts and participation with nearby firms and associations. From the money related perspective, the fundamental assets originate from the State, additionally from the business sector: even 30% of its asset report, an unprecedented result, is the consequence of incomes originating from outside occupation requests for studies and exercises of specialized counsel and from concurrences with firms, contracts with the European Union and with the other global associations.
