The Andres Bello National University is a private university situated at Chile, USA in 1988. It belongs to the Laureate International Universities group of private universities. UNAB is a higher education institute that was established with the goal of becoming a pluralistic academic endeavor in the short term, drawing on the best from existing university traditions within Chile while simultaneously meeting the challenges of modernity. It′s mission is to be a University that offers those who aspire to grow an integrative educational experience of excellence for a globalized world, supporting the development of critical thinking and the systematic generation of new knowledge. It was ranked ninth best university in Chile and the second best private university in the 2012 by QS World University Rankings. From its beginnings, the aim of UNAB was to include all academic disciplines, with particular emphasis on highly complex scientific fields. The university currently has 14 faculties which includes Architecture and Design, Social Sciences, Economy and Business, Biological Sciences, Rehabilitation Sciences, Law, Ecology and Natural Resources, Nursing, Humanities and Education, Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, Interest and Maritime Services & Liberal Arts Program.
