The mission of the Edward via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) is to prepare all inclusive minded, group focused doctors to help rustic and restoratively undeserved populaces and elevate examination to enhance human wellbeing. The goals of VCOM are:
Goal 1: To give training in the craftsmanship and art of osteopathic medicine.
Goal 2: To select and graduate students who will address medicinal services aberrations including those identified with rustic areas, minority populaces, neediness status, and essential consideration.
Goal 3: To create, advertise, and disperse restorative information in malady prevention, chronic infection administration, group wellbeing, and open wellbeing practices through Appalachian and International effort programs.
Goal 4: To development exploratory information through medicinal exploration.
Goal 5: To serve as a supporter of osteopathic medication, provincial wellbeing, mission drug and moderate, available social insurance for the therapeutically underserved.
