English National Ballet School

English National Ballet School (ENBS) is a specialist classical ballet school based in London in the United Kingdom. Founded in 1988 and it is a specialist training centre for aspiring and highly talented young ballet dancers aged 16 to 19 and the school is the official associate school of English National Ballet, with many graduates becoming dancers with the company. We transform talented young dancers into world-class performers over a three year programme validated by Trinity College, London.
English National Ballet School is situated in south-west London and Steve Sacks is the chairman of the organization. The school is also one of only 21 schools in the United Kingdom selected to offer government funded Dance and Drama Awards.
Graduate destinations include employment with major ballet companies worldwide. Many students of the school are successful in achieving a place with English National Ballet, with 35% of the dancers in the company having been trained at the school. Some graduates also find employment in contemporary dance, jazz dance and musical theatre.
English National Ballet School is first and foremost a ballet school. They ensure students receive a good all-round education to prepare you for a future career in dance and provide a unique course of academic study which focuses on creative and artistic development.
English National Ballet School presents end of year performances and also offers summer, spring and day courses for those wishing for an insight into preparing for life in a present-day ballet company. English National Ballet School has an associate programme, ENBS Juniors, for girls and boys aged 3 and up.
