Red.es is the public business entity dependent on the Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society (SETSI), the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism (MINETUR) Spanish . Its main purpose is to implement certain projects to boost the information society by interacting with Autonomous Communities , Provincial Councils , Local Authorities and the private sector in the field of Information and Communication Technologies. The Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness, IVACE, is an entity of public law, integrated in the instrumental public sector of the Generalitat of those foreseen in article 2.3.a) 3 of Law 1/2015, of February 6, of the Generalitat, Public Finance, Public Sector and Subsidies. By Decree Law 7/2012, of October 19, of the Consell, Restructuring Measures of the Public Sector Business and Foundation of the Generalitat the Institute of Small and Medium Industry of the Generalitat Valenciana (IMPIVA) changed its name to the Institute Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE), and went on to assume the competencies of AVEN, SEPIVA, IVEX, after suppression and extinction of these entities. The purpose of the Institute is to manage the industrial policy of the Generalitat and support companies in innovation, entrepreneurship, internationalization and investment capture, as well as the promotion of technological enclaves, industrial safety of industrial products and installations, Metrology, vehicles and companies and the promotion of savings, energy efficiency and renewable energy sources, as well as the management of the Generalitats energy policy. The Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness has among its objectives the planning and energetic planning in the field of the Comunitat Valenciana, according to the general guidelines of the Consell, in coordination with the different administrations and within the framework of the common energy policy of the Union The Energy Department of the institute is responsible for its implementation.
