Their mission is to train the key players of the energy transition and meet current industrial and societal needs in the fields of energy, oil, gas, petrochemicals and powertrains. The university strong industrial partnerships, position within Energies novellas, multidisciplinary educational programs, international prestige and unique work environment have been building the School we know today. All of these assets have helped to train competent, open-minded and responsible professionals who are appreciated and in demand on the job market.
The industry-oriented training provided by the university hinges on Professionally-oriented training that includes numerous real-life case studies, technological developments and practical training in the field.Teaching staff that associates the Schools permanent faculty with more than 350 specialists from industry. In order to be up to speed with industry needs and adapt its training, the university enjoys solid partnerships with a variety of companies in the energy and transportation sectors. More than 50 companies support IFP School through student sponsorships, student support via apprenticeships, and study leave for professionals. As an international benchmark for education in the fields of energy and powertrains, the university admits close to 50% international students from more than 50 different countries each year. It is an integral part of IFP Energies novellas (IFPEN), a research, innovation and training centre for energy, transportation and the environment. This provides a synergy between training, research and innovation, you will benefit from high-level applied training enhanced by the world-class scientific expertise of IFPEN. You will therefore have access to courses taught by over 100 research engineers as well as the very latest technical and IT resources. A total of roughly 100 students are admitted to the four programs per year.
