Fujian Normal University is one of the oldest universities of China located at Fuzhou, Fujian. After the formation of republic of China the university was then a school and was merged with Fukian Christian University and Hua Nan Women’s College to form a new and significantly expanded Fujian Normal College which was later accredited to university in 1972. The modern headquarters is divided into 2 campuses Qishan Campus and the Cangshan Campus. The FNU consists of 28 colleges, which offers 56 undergraduate programs, over 120 master programs, about 50 doctoral programs and 7 post-doctoral research centers 8 key laboratories or research centers sponsored by either the ministries concerned or the provincial government
