Fundacion Integra

Fundacion Integra belongs to the Foundations Network of the Sociocultural Direction of the Presidency of the Republic. With 25 years of experience, he is one of the main promoters of parvularia education in Chile. It has more than 1,000 kindergartens and free nurseries, located in the most vulnerable sectors of 316 communes throughout Chile. More than 73,000 children attend daily to these establishments, where more than 15,500 people work, mostly technical and professional women. Among them, more than 1,000 garden educators who play an important role of leadership in their community. Achieve full development and significant learning of children between three months and four years of age through a quality educational project with the active participation of work teams, families and community. Through a participative management, the Integra community defined its Educational Quality Policy, whose purpose is to guarantee the right to a quality parvularia education to the children in Chile. Integras Quality Policy is nourished by four components: Component of Well-being and Protagonism of children; Component of Transformative Education ; Component of Families and Communities committed to Education , and Component of People and Teams working for Education . Integras 2014-2018 Navigation Charter was built in a participatory manner and is based on the pillars of Educational Reform . It establishes the strategic statements and essential elements of the educational quality of Integra, a concept that is defined and deployed in its Educational Quality Policy. From this base are derived or strategic objectives linked to the axes Model of Education and People who Educate. Educational proposals aimed at girls and boys, which are carried out through a curriculum development that integrates different environments and educational spaces, which seek to respond to particular characteristics of the groups involved. Among the actions implemented around the IEP is the "small environmental force" period, where children learn and develop ecological awareness through various educational experiences. To this is added the possibility that the educational environments built with waste materials reinforce other learning. "Transforming waste into educational spaces allows us to have a third educator, where we work the local identity through spaces such as the pier where we strengthen the nucleus of human groups". The management of alliances with third parties allows Integra to give added value to the program it delivers in each of its kindergartens, crib rooms and unconventional modalities, through strong collaborative relationships and the execution of innovative projects for the benefit of children and Girls, families and educational teams.
