Grŵp Llandrillo Menai Grŵp Llandrillo Menai was established in 2012 by the collaboration of College Llandrillo, College Menai and College Meirion-Dwyfor. It aims to support the economy of North Wales by equipping local people with the skills and qualifications needed to ensure the competitiveness and success of the region. It consists of wide range of courses, high quality learning experiences, first-class facilities and talented staff all contribute towards the achievement of these goals. About 2,000 staff and 27,000 courses, including more than 1,000 higher education, crosswise over Anglesey, Conwy, Denbighshire and Gwynedd. The university consists of more than 255 courses Additionally, it provides opportunities to study locally for degrees and professional qualifications enabling more young people and mature learners to achieve their potential. A University Centre at the Rhos-on-Sea Campus provides fabulous facilities for the Grŵps Higher Education students. By combining personal development skills with established qualifications such as A Levels and vocational awards, the Welsh Baccalaureate is a wider award that is valued by both employers and universities. The new post-16 Welsh Baccalaureate is accessible at Foundation (Level 1) and National (Level 2). The primary concentration of the honor is to improve the learners employability abilities and familiarity with current issues. The main focus of the award is to enhance the learner’s employability skills and awareness of current issues. The award combines traditional qualifications with the core award which consists of GCSE and Levels 1 & 2 vocational qualifications, and four challenges:Enterprise & Employment Challenge,Global Citizenship challenge, Community Challenge and Individual Project. The Welsh Baccalaureate is offered as an integrated package with the majority of the College’s full-time programs at Levels 1-3, so you benefit from as much experience and added value as possible throughout your program.
