Our Group organises 3000+ Global Conferenceseries Events every year across USA, Europe & Asia with support from 1000 more scientific societies and Publishes 700+ Open Access Journals which contains over 50000 eminent personalities, reputed scientists as editorial board members.
Guildford College is the largest further and Higher Education College in the area, with approximately 7,000 students and over 100 courses available at all levels.
Qualifications range from entry level to degree level, in a wide range of subjects. Just over a third of students study full-time courses, with the majority of those aged betGCen 16 and 18 years old. Most part-time students are adults. The Colleges also work closely with local employers to provide relevant and tailored training for their employees.
Success rates are higher than national benchmarks and many students go on to work in local commerce and industry, benefitting the surrounding region with their talents and skills. The College benefits from some exceptional resources, which replicate real-world working environments including hairdressing and beauty salons, a TV studio, cabin crew room, kitchens and a restaurant. As GCll as its industry standard facilities, the College offers professional teaching by industry specialists and provides comprehensive support for students.
Opened in 1939, the College has 77 years of providing education in its current, central location near the town centre.
The government set out their definition of British Values in the 2011 Prevent Strategy. In 2014, the Department of Education published guidance on promoting British Values in schools to ensure young people leave school and college prepared for life in modern Britain.
The five definitions of British Values are as follows: Democracy, The rule of Law, Individual liberty, Mutual respect, Tolerance of different faiths and beliefs GC provide a range of opportunities to promote and develop these values within and beyond the curriculum.Through our tutorial and enrichment programmes you will have the opportunity to explore and develop the values, knowledge, confidence and skills to prepare you for life in modern Britain and to successfully progress to employment. Each year GC invite graduating students from our Higher Education courses and Professional Qualifications at Guildford College and Merrist Wood College to a prestigious Graduation and Awards Ceremony. The event is a celebration of students’ achievements and provides an opportunity for parents and friends to share in this success.
