Guilin University of Electronic Technology is situated in the city Guilin in Guangxi, China. Guilin University of Technology (GUET) is located in Guilin. There are approximately more than 19,000 students. At present, it offers 59 undergraduate programmes and 35 postgraduate programmes varied from Management, Economies, Art, Literature, Engineering, Science, Agriculture etc. as well as the Chinese Language Courses designed for international students. The GUET university is comprised of four campuses. East Campus, West Campus, Huajiang Campus, Behai Campus, In fact, the university has 18 distinct schools and departments offering 45 undergraduate programs, 34 post-graduate programs, and 8 state-funded programs. Furthermore, the university has established extensive relationships of cooperation and exchanges with more than 10 foreign universities, including University of Cincinnati in the USA and Waterford Institute of Technology in Ireland. GXUT has a highly qualified teaching staff of more than 1100, including over 300 teachers with senior professional titles, more than 270 teachers with doctorates or masters degrees. Some of them are experts with government subsides for their prominent contributions to the country, and some are granted the status of Provincial Excellent Experts and Provincial Technical Personnel with Outstanding Achievements. The university has invited about 130 academicians, professors and experts from home and abroad to be its visiting professors.
