Hadassah-University Hospital

Hadassah-University Hospital is a medical organization that works two university hospitals at Ein Kerem and Mount Scopus in Jerusalem, Israel, and also schools of medicine, dentistry, nursing, and pharmacology affiliated to Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Its mission is to develop a "hand to all, without regard for race, religion or ethnic origin." The clinic was established by Hadassah, the Womens Zionist Organization of America. The Medical Center positions as the sixth-biggest clinic intricate in Israel. Over its two branches, Hadassah Medical Center has an aggregate of 1,000 beds, 31 operating theatres and nine special intensive care units, and runs five schools of medical professions. In 2005, Hadassah was assigned for the Nobel Peace Prize in affirmation of its equivalent treatment of all patients, paying little heed to ethnic and religious contrasts, and endeavors to assemble scaffolds to peace.
