Hengshui University is a university in Hengshui, Hebei province, Peoples Republic of China, established by the provincial government. The school was founded in 1923 in Zhili sixth teacher, founded in 1948 Jidan Institute of construction, 1949, Hebei Hebei County Normal School, 1978, approved by the State Council, Hengshui Normal School on the basis of the establishment of Hengshui Teachers College. October 1998, approved by the Hebei Provincial Peoples Government, Hengshui Teachers and Hengshui Education Institute merged to set up a new Hengshui Teachers College, and as a basis to build Hengshui College. May 17, 2004, approved by the Ministry of Education, Hengshui Teachers converted into Hengshui College.
Hengshui College has 13 secondary colleges, 6 public teaching departments, 40 undergraduate majors, belonging to the literature, science, engineering, education, economics, management, art, law, agriculture and other nine disciplines. There are more than 11,000 full-time students, students from the country in addition to Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan outside the 30 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including 9279 undergraduates, 1980 undergraduate students, and other correspondence granted 651 people.
