Humanitas is a cancer research institute located in Rozzano of Milan province in Italy. The Centre houses well experienced professionals, high end skills, newest technology, clinical trials and good patient care. It conducts basic, clinical, and translational research and works with various renowned centers across the world. The centre was established as a polyclinic with the objective to provide route or path for every challenge concerning cancer diagnosis, treatment, and prevention with extensive research and innovation activities. It also focuses on development of personalized therapies and providing exclusive support to the patients’ families in taking best care of the patients after the healing and discharge. Its focus is not just providing advanced cancer care but also improving length and the quality of patient’s life even after the cure. Since 2001, the centre has been into teaching and training in association with University of Milan. It is offering graduate degree in Nursing, post graduate science degree in Biotechnology and doctoral degree in Experimental Pathology and Neuropathology. Clinical trial protocols are designed and performed at the centre to test safety and efficacy of new improved medicines or therapies which are the outcome of their research.
