Hunan University of Science and Engineering established in 1941, the university located in the metropolis of Yongzhou Hunan. The University officially accredited/recognized by the Department of Education. Hunan University of Science and Engineering is a large (enrollment range: 10,000-14,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Hunan University of Science and Engineering offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. Hunan University of Science and Engineering also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services. The university consists of 16 departments; with 38 specialties for undergraduates the university has one campus, a combined student body of 14,400 students, 740 faculty members. In 1971 the university started as a college but in 2000 it upgraded to undergraduate course university and renamed as "Lingling College" and the college renamed as Hunan University of Science and Engineering.
