Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia was established in 1953. University is a global model of teaching, learning, and research excellence; and community service based on the genuine Islamic teachings and values. University nurtures the knowledge, creativity and moral values of male and female students to acquire the leadership skills and serve their country through providing activities of high quality learning, teaching, scientific research, and community service. Guided by its Islamic traditions and values, the Al-Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University integrates commitment to Islamic principles with academic and research excellence, in addition to international communication and knowledge exchange in order to participate in producing and spreading knowledge in accordance with national and international quality standards. The university houses 10 faculties. It currently has more than 24,000 students and 1,300 faculties. The university is organized into eleven colleges which are focus on: Shariah, Islam, Arabic language, social sciences, advocacy and media studies, language and translation, computer science, economics and administrative sciences, science, medicine, and engineering. The University is home to the Institute of Translation and Arabization, it is dedicated to the translation of Arabic texts to foreign languages, and translation of foreign language texts into Arabic. Since the university was established, it has been enlarging continually. It comprises eleven colleges, five of which are in Riyadh and six are out of Riyadh in regions of Al-Qassim, Al-Ehsa, and Medina, in addition to the southern area. Besides this, it comprises two institutes in Riyadh: one for Jurisdiction and one for teaching Arabic language for non-Arabic native speakers. It comprises six institutes abroad for teaching Islamic, Arab knowledge in Ras Al-Khaima, UAE, Mauritania, Djibouti, Indonesia, USA, and Japan, in addition to sixty Sharia institutes kingdom-wide.
