The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) located in Vadodara, Gujarat developed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India under Public Private Partnership (PPP) model. DA-IICT Gandhinagar has been entrusted the responsibility of mentoring IIIT Vadodara. At present, IIIT-V is operating from its brief premises at Government Engineering College (Gandhinagar) until the time its new campus is made operational at Vadodara, Gujarat, the institute is housed in a 50-acre campus and is built in Public Private Partnership mode. Indian Institute of Information Technology, Vadodara - is established to cater to the emerging needs and possibilities and meet financial demanding situations being thrown with the aid of the incessant IT revolution. It is setup as a Not for Profit Public Private Partnership (PPP) version. It is a major initiative taken by way of Government of Gujarat to harness the multifarious size of IT Industry. The Government of Gujarat has lent assist to the Institute through providing 50 acres of land and Building. It is aimed toward offering future applicants who shall turn out to be a precursor inside the subject of IT. A Governing Council consisting of outstanding people from academia, enterprise and government preside over the governance of the institute.
