Inner Mongolia Normal University (IMNU) was established in 1952, the first ever university established after The People’s Republic of China was founded in 1949.It is located in Hohhot. The major aim is to train the teachers for primary education, minority education and the upcoming talented students speaking both Chinese and Mongolian. It has a library that houses around 2,400,000 books. It comprises of 64 undergraduates and 34 subordinate colleges. There are 1400 full time teachers. The university helps in uniting the various talents like about 1,70,0000 students by providing them with modern technologically advanced knowledge in order to make them technologically sound and help them in becoming pioneer leaders in their profession working as unbeatable leaders as well as working for the economic development of the country. Various graduates and post graduates courses are being provided for the students. International collaboration agreements are signed and many international students and teachers are exchanged every year. Many international students are enrolled in the college curriculum of diversified culture and countries. Courses are being offered in Arts and humanities, Business and social sciences, Language and cultural and Science and Technology, Chemical engineering, Computer science, Environmental studies, International Economics and Trade, mechanical etc. are to name a few. Scholarships are also provided for students based on their performances. IMNU believes in exchanging ideas, nurturing evolving talents, using modern technological advancements in the betterment of the society by providing the students knowledge with love and empathy.
