Inner Mongolia University of Technology (IMUTis a university in Inner Mongolia, Peoples Republic of China, underneath the authority of the Autonomous Region government. It had been established in 1951 and was originally referred to as the Suiyuan Higher technical school and after that on 1958 the Inner Mongolia polytechnic Institute before ever-changing to its current name in 1993. It is set in northern part of Hohhot, the capital town of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The university has over 25,000 students listed. The university is primarily with engineering school, though its expanded to different fields as well as economic science and Law. There are 19 disciplines in which students can acquire a Master’s degree and 36 disciplines for undergraduate study. Dr. Yongming Xing is the president of Inner Mongolia University of Technology.
