Institute for Integrated Production Hannover (IPH), which actually translates as "Hanover institute of integrated manufacturing", is a non-income restrained corporation offering research and improvement, consulting, and schooling in commercial engineering. IPH focuses on research within the subject of production generation and provides consultancy services to commercial agencies and schooling to young academics in engineering sciences. The IPH was founded as a spin-off of Leibniz University Hannover in 1988. To this present day, three professors of the university manage the IPH as a non-earnings restricted organization. The IPH conducts utility-oriented studies in the field of engineering sciences. The IPH is managed by the three dealing with directors, Professor Dr. Ludger Overmeyer, Professor Dr. Peter Nyhuis and Professor Dr. Bernd-Arno Behrens, who also lead chairs on the Leibniz University Hannover and coordinating director Dr. Georg Ullmann. Currently, sixty seven personnel are employed at the Marienwerder Science Park inside the Northwest of Hanover, 29 of which as scientific staff / specialists. About 30 studies assistants work in interdisciplinary groups on studies initiatives managing the center issues process era, production automation and logistics. Objective of the IPH is to recognize new tendencies at an early degree, boost progressive ideas and help enforcing them in industry. The IPH is nicely networked within the German scientific network. IPH have cooperations with studies establishments, such as: Institute of Machine Tools and Production Technology (IWF), The Leichtmetallzentrum Soltau, Institute of Manufacturing Engineering and Machine Tools, Germann Federation of Industrial Research Association, Austrian studies advertising employer and so on. IPH’s three fields of studies – logistics, production automation and method technology – cover the entire variety of manufacturing technology. Logistics: Challenges from business practice are solved via interdisciplinary processes – constantly seeing the massive photograph. In the sphere of logistics, the focus is at the making plans and corporation of efficient factories and production networks, linking specialized companies – in particular small- and medium-sized organizations (SME). The important subjects encompass: employer of production networks, decentralized law of manufacturing in networks, relaxed float of substances, efficient logistics, green use of sources. Production automation: The discipline of production automation encompass: enterprise 4.0, allotted structures, wireless conversation, automatic guided car structures, shrewd systems. Process technology: This field of research focuses on steel forming production technologies. New technologies enable outstanding issue production, used for example in automotive and mechanical engineering programs – and a saving of time and resources. The area of manner generation offers with: forging processes (e. G. Flash much less precision forging), hydro forming, hybrid forging (large, sheet metal), procedure chain forming technology, multifunctional tools, the price-effectiveness of method chains.
