The Basque Institute of Public Administration is an autonomous body attached to the current Department of Public Administration and Justice of the Basque Government, whose creation, structure and functions are established in the Law of 16/1983, of July 27 with its headquarters located at Calle Donostia-San Sebastián, Alameda de Recalde, San Bartolomé and Old University. The three main fields of activity of the Institute are of paramount importance for the proper functioning of the Basque public administrations. They are the following: the selection and training of their human resources, Euskaldunización of the personnel to the service of the public administrations and the translation, interpretation, terminology and standardization of the administrative language. Research and teaching on the Administration in general and on the peculiarities of Basque Colleged bodies and other administrative bodies. The IVAP aims to collaborate with all the Basque public administrations and, consolidating its brand image, to become a reference center in its fields of action thanks to an innovative and quality products and services, customer oriented and supported in the Advanced use of new technologies. Basque government aims at aids and procedures for publication of 9,929 articles with their new criteria. The documentation and library center of the Basque Institute of Public Administration is a specialized research and consulting center in the following areas: Administration Sciences, Urbanism and the Environment, Selection and Training of Personnel, Linguistics, Euskaldunization of the Basque Public Administration.
