On June 15, 1929 the Experimental Zooprophylactic Institute of the Venices was inaugurated in Padua on the initiative of the provinces of the Triveneto, who wanted to establish a scientific-experimental center to support the zootechnics of the territory. The history of the Istituto Zooprofilattico is a collective adventure written by directors, presidents, medical, technical and administrative staff, who has traveled throughout the twentieth century and its places: from the difficult years of war to the post-war recovery, from the economic boom of the years 60 to the birth of the research activities of the next decade, from the launch of the free European market to the new challenges imposed by the globalization of the third millennium.
