JIANGSU SECOND NORMAL UNIVERSITY
Jiangsu Second Normal University sits in Nanjing, Jiangsu province and was formerly known asJiangsu Education Institute in 1952. It has established partnership with more than 20 institutes of higher learning and scientific research organs in the US, Canada, the UK and Australia, as well as China's Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Over recent years and with the aims of reinforcing Jiangsu's position as China's provincial education powerhouse, speeding up modernization processes, promoting educational reform and stabilizing recent achievements, Jiangsu continues to strive conscientiously to realize the balanced development of basic education, the innovative development of vocational education and quality development of higher education.
In Jiangsu, there are now 134 colleges and universities with about 1.8 million students. The number of university students in Jiangsu encompasses approximately 10% of the total university students in all of China, and 2.7% of the entire world. Higher education institutions in Jiangsu have established exchanges and cooperative relationships with more than 500 overseas universities and colleges. Since admission of international students became legal in 1976, more than 130, 000 international students from 175 foreign countries have come to study in Jiangsu. More recently, the number of international students has increased by an average annual rate of nearly 15%. There are 15 Chinese Government Scholarship Programs available at the many universities in Jiangsu, making this province one of the major benefactors for foreign students in China.
INTERNATIONAL TRAINING : Jiangsu-Manchester Center for International Educational Development is one of the four overseas teacher training bases for the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education (JPDE). The center provides a unique opportunity for primary and secondary school teachers as well as school administrators from Jiangsu to exchange teaching resources, do research in education and teaching reforms and expand their professional knowledge. Staffed with full-time professional faculty and a service team in fully-fledged facilities, the center is capable of meeting all necessary needs of trainees.
SuOn College: SuOn College is jointly run by the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, the Ontario government and the Ontario Ministry of Higher Education.SuOn College, located in Toronto, Canada, is an international educational organization managed by Jiangsu Education Services for International Exchange. Collaboration with Lawrence Technical University began in 2003 and has laid a solid foundation for teacher training and other exchange programs in the United States.
