Jinwen University of Science and Technology is a private university in Xindian District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. It was established as Jin-Wen College in 1980, then upgraded to Jin-Wen Institute of Technology in 1998 and was finally upgraded to Jinwen University of Science and Technology in 2007. There are 14 departments and 4 graduate programs within 4 colleges of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Business and Management, Humanities and Design, Electrical, Information and Resources Engineering, and more than 8,000 students at Jinwen University of Science and Technology (JUST).
College of Hospitality & Tourism Management consists of the Graduate School of Tourism and Hospitality and 4 departments: Department of Leisure and Recreational Management, Department of Food and Beverage Management, Department of Travel Management, and Department of Hotel Management.
College of Business Management consists of six departments: Department of International Trade, Department of Business Administration, Department of Information Management, Department Wealth Management and Tax Planning, Department of Finance and Department of Marketing and Logistics Management.
College of Humanities and Design consists of four departments: Department of Applied Foreign Langages, Department of Visual Communication Design, Art Center and Language Center.
College of Electrical, Information and Resources Engineering consists of three departments/institutes: the Department of Electronic Engineering (EE), the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering (CSIE) department, and the Institute of Computer and Communication Engineering (CCE).

The Jinwen University of Science and Technology Research and Development Office, also abbreviated as RD, is located on the second floor, Administration Building. This Office crews include a dean, four division leaders, a director of Innovation & Incubation Center, and lots of groups. The hierarchy of RD has four divisions: Industry-Academy Collaboration Division, Career Counseling Service, International Cooperation & Exchange Division, Research Planning & Coordination Division, and Innovation & Incubation Center, which are responsible for the research plans application, industry-academy collaboration, teacher patent application, technological level authentication, international academy collaboration, overseas schools collaboration & exchanges, and alumni career counseling service.
